Postdocs in biostatistics

Two 2-year positions as Postdoc are available at the Department of Public Health, Section of Biostatistics, University of Copenhagen, starting on 1 September 2016 or as soon as possible hereafter.

Section of Biostatistics conducts general biostatistical research and methodological development in biostatistics, undertakes teaching of students at various educations, undergraduate as well as postgraduate, and offers biostatistical advice to staff and students in all disciplines of the Faculty of Health Sciences.

The position
The Postdocs will be involved in one of the projects listed below as well as participating in the daily duties of the Section of Biostatistics. The exact match between successful candidates and projects will be done based on interests and background of the applicants. The Postdoc is a postgraduate position which entails research – including an obligation to publish and communicate scientific findings and provide research-based teaching (and conduct related exams) within the areas of biostatistics. The Postdoc's functions may vary periodically according to the Department’s requirements, but will qualify the Postdoc in both research and teaching. During the term of the employment, supervision will be provided as well as possibilities of educational upgrading with a view to a final written evaluation of the Postdoc’s qualifications.
